Mark was the sweetest guy you would ever meet! He was always nice and had a good disposition, and always something good to say about everybody. I did not get to be with him as often as I could, back at school, we were in a lot of different classes since his last name started with an M, and mine an A, but after Heights, we would try to get together at the reunions to catch up on what we were doing. Mark’s passing was a terrible shock and blow, but I know God and Jesus are taking very good care of him, in heaven. The 50th reunion isn’t going to be the same, but Mark will always be in our hearts and on our minds.
Hi Deborah, hope your birthday, on July 2nd, is as special as you are! Hope to see you at the Heights 50th anniversary! Love and good wishes always, Nancy K. Altaras
So sad to lose this incredible lady, May we never forget all the beauty she has brought, and also the helping of others.
Sad to see another Heightster passing away. Interesting he was in Myrtle Beach, wish he was back in Texas, alive! I know God and Jesus have a plan we don’t see, but our fiftieth reunion will be a little sadder of the ones who have gone on to the big reunion, in the sky. You will be missed, Michael, but never forgotten. Sincerely, Nancy K. Altaras

Hi David, your May Day girl just wants to wish her 4th of July guy, a very wonderful birthday and happy 4th of July! Hope it is everything you want it to be. Good wishes and love to your sweet wife and children too! Hope they are doing well too! Hope you all got to go to the 45th reunion, I was paid up and ready to go, but my mother, who is 92, wasn't feeling too well, so I stayed home and took care of her. I'll be there for the 50th though, got my dress already and everything, in Heights blue, of course, with gold trimmings! Love to you always and your wife and children too! Sincerely, Nancy K. Altaras??

Hi David, I didn’t know where I would be on your birthday, but I just wanted to wish my Forth of July guy, the best birthdays ever! Love and kisses and lots of good wishes, from your May Day girl! Also, my love to Lisa and your family, too! All my heart , Nancy K. Altaras??????
I met Monte at Monnig Jr High. Even at that challenging stage of life, Monte was sweet, friendly, and, I thought, hilarious. He sang, " Chain, chain, chain.." every day, and it cracked me up, every day. A sweet memory from some long forgotten 7th grade class. It's heartbreaking to think of that kind, gentle soul enduring ALS for 4 years. My condolences to his wife and children.
Sorry to hear of Monte’s passing, didn’t know he had ALS. He was a nice guy, and it is sad to lose a fellow classmate and Heightster. He will be sadly and terribly missed! Nancy K. Altaras
Sorry to hear this. I was very good friends with Monte at one point in my life thru church softball. Seem to be losing lots of friends from that team unfortunately. Reggie Radar was also on it. Monte was a good guy with good sense of humor. My prayers to his family! B. Allen
